Server not starting when adding any mod

When I try to run the server right after installing / updating, it works just fine.

 

Adding any mod via the "Find Mods" tab seems to work as well. The mod shows up in the "Mod Management" tab.

However, when trying to start the server, it gets stuck in the "initializing" step for a few seconds, then the window closes.

 

Is it a bug? Any idea how to resolve this?

Hello quickly, from what I see, I am in the car Sorry.

this looks like a lack of memory you need at least 10 gigabytes of avaiable memory to be able to launch the dedicated server

 

Physical Memory: 1815.59 MB used, 1081.36 MB free, 2896.95 MB total

Thanks for the reply. But this seems not to be the problem/cause. I added more RAM (32GB) and still have the same issue.

If the window is closing right after startup.
There may be an error in the game save files, try backing up the save file.
Turn on the server with a new save to see if it will work.

I already had this problem, it was related to the tribe files that were buggy.

It's a completely fresh install. I've even set up a new VM. Deleting the mod lets the server start normally...

So the problem is with the mod if the server turns on without it, is it just a specific mod or is it any mod?

I tested the following mods (only 1 mod per try):

  • Super Spyglass Plus
  • Utilities Plus
  • Solo Farm Mod
  • Automated Ark

So I'm assuming it's not the mod(s) but an issue with the server itself.

Here you informed that without the mods on the server it turns on? If yes, the problem is with the mods

Any idea which mod would work? So I can test those.

When you add just 1 mod like this, does the server turn on? You have to test to see which mod is causing the problem.
