Admin commands
i just started a new server everything was really easy
i just can't figure out how to use admin comands when i open console and write command nothing happens do i need to set myself as admin somewhere or is it the password where do i type it to get acces to admin commands 🙂

connect to your server and either in the Server management tab Get your player ID
or
In game press the ~ [tilde] button to open the console command. You can change the key bind for this in the settings under "toggle console".Execute the command: whoami
Don't forget to enter your admin password
In GameUserSettings Tab Find variable AdminListURL and create a new file and put like that
file://C:\\ASA_Production_Server\\TheIsland\\ShooterGame\\Saved\\adminlist.txt" and put you id in the file
don't forget to restart your server
after in game that Press the “~” button on the keyboard or use the Console Commands UI. in type enablecheats youradminpassword
still can't get it to work
my path is different but at as long as it tells the manager where to find the AdminListURL.txt file i guess it does not matter
i double checked for typing error in my player id
it just sayes unknown command when i try for eksample Fly command
after type
enablecheats youradminpassword
you must type:
cheat Fly
don't forget the format "file://C:\\xxx\\xxx..." in the path as in the screenshot
did not know i had to write cheat before commands it works fine thx a lot
